Conspec gas detectors use an intuitive 2-step process that includes applying zero gas and span gas (50% of the target gas). In mining applications, this procedure can be performed underground and does not require the gas detector to be brought to the surface. Calibration intervals will depend on the amount / frequency of a given target gas that is present within the environment.
