The Optio V is a multi-gas monitor designed for low-level detection of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) vehicle emissions in enclosed spaces. Once alarm thresholds are reached, the monitor can engage mitigation and notification systems; including turning on ventilation, warning signals, and communicating with a facility’s BAS / BMS.
The Optio V’s innovative design allows it to support up to six sensors. These sensors can be deployed internally or remotely (up to 100 ft / 30 m), allowing the device to monitor for toxic gases over a wider area.
The Optio V seamlessly integrates into larger safety systems, forming a scalable solution engineered to the unique safety and operational needs of any facility.
| On-Demand Ventilation | Operating ventilation only when it is needed reduces equipment wear while also decreasing energy consumption by 85%. |
| Long Sensor Life | Designed for extended operational longevity, reducing replacement frequency and lowering maintenance costs. |
| Self-Diagnostic Function | Continuously monitors internal health to ensure reliable system performance and early fault detection. |
| Automatic Reset | Recovers seamlessly after power loss, minimizing manual intervention. |
| Onboard Relays | Provides built-in relays for direct control of external devices, alarms, or ventilation functions. |
| Onboard Alarm | Delivers a loud, clear audible warning to alert personnel to hazardous conditions. |
| Bright LCD Display | High-visibility screen ensures clear viewing of gas readings and status information in various lighting conditions. |
| Flexible Sensor Configuration | Supports a combination of 6 internal or remote sensors (up to 2 internal sensors). |
| BAS and Primus V Integration | Multiple Optio V detectors can connect to a Primus V Controller for centralized monitoring, building automation system (BAS) integration, and fan, louvre, or exhaust control. |
