The Optio XP is a fixed explosion-proof multi-gas monitor designed for use in hazardous locations. Engineered to be rugged, the monitor is capable of withstanding impact, vibration, and dramatic environmental changes. When combined with Conspec’s HPIR sensor, The Optio XP is capable of maintaining the highest level of performance in extreme cold temperatures down to -40°F (-40°C).
The Optio XP’s innovative design allows it to support up to six sensors simultaneously, enabling a single device to monitor for toxic and combustible gases over a wider area. When additional reach is required, optional remote sensors can be wired up to 100 ft (30 m), allowing the detection system to achieve an even larger coverage area when using multiple sensors.
For installations where cabling is not practical, the Optio XP supports a wireless gas detection configuration using the Optio XP Gateway (required for wireless operation), which easily integrates into control systems through Modbus RTU over RS-485 communicatioand automation n. This enables reliable wireless communication for gas monitoring in remote or hard-to-wire hazardous locations.
The Optio XP seamlessly integrates into larger safety systems, forming a scalable solution engineered to the unique safety and operational needs of any facility. Compact, dependable, and easy to maintain, the Optio XP provides consistent protection in the most demanding industrial environments.
