Pittsburgh, PA — May 12–14, 2026 — Conspec Controls, a leader in gas, flame, and heat detection solutions, today announced its participation in the Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable (EGCR), taking place May 12–14 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The company will exhibit at Booth #301 and host a CEU-eligible professional development lecture focused on gas and flame detection integration for oil and gas compressor stations.
As compressor station operators face increasing pressure to improve safety, maintain compliance, and reduce downtime, integrated detection systems are becoming essential to modern operations. At EGCR, Conspec Controls will showcase its latest technologies designed to enhance hazard detection and streamline system integration across critical infrastructure.
Conspec Controls will lead a 90-minute educational session on Wednesday, May 13 from 9:40–11:10 AM. The course is eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and is designed for engineers, operators, and safety professionals working in oil and gas environments.
The session will provide practical, real-world guidance across the full lifecycle of detection system design, implementation, and maintenance.
In addition, the session will highlight emerging solutions such as heated infrared (HPIR) gas detection, which helps mitigate condensation-related sensor drift in challenging compressor station environments.
Throughout the event, attendees are invited to visit Conspec Controls at Booth #301 to explore its portfolio of gas, flame, and heat detection technologies. Company experts will be available to discuss application-specific challenges, demonstrate integrated safety solutions, and provide guidance on system design and compliance.
“EGCR brings together the industry’s top engineers and operators focused on compression infrastructure,” said a spokesperson for Conspec Controls. “Our goal is to provide practical insights and technologies that not only improve safety, but also enhance operational efficiency and reliability.”
